Vision Infotech provides the technology to install and maintaint the back-end speech recognition software wherein the physician dictates over the phone or uploads the voice files to the servers from his handheld. The transcribed text files will then be available to the physician within minutes of the dictation/uploading.

To achieve 99% accuracy with the auto transcribed text, the initial set up involves the physician to dictate a preformatted text for 15 minutes to enable the system to adapt to his dictating style. Vision Infotech will then train the software for few days with the help of the pre-dictated voice files of the dictator or with the current dictations to achieve the desired level of accuracy.

The entire system of dictation and transcriptions are fully automated and the physician need not sit in front of any computer to train the software.

1. How does this work?
   Dictate in to the phone (or upload the voice file from your handheld) and receive the transcribed text in to your ftp folder within few minutes. As simple as that.
   
2. What if I have more than one dictator?
   You can have as many dictators as you would like. The procedure is the same. After the initial learning curve, the sofware will transcribe automatically as and when the dictations are received.
   
3. What is the cost of speech recognized transcriptions?
   Three cents per line for the transcribed text if you prefer to use our servers. There will be a nominal fee for initial setup and training. If you prefer to use our toll free dictation system, there will be an additional charge of 2 cents per line. There is no charge for uploading voice files from your handhelds or dictaphones.
4. What if we want the transcribed text to be formatted in a word or pdf file with our own headers and footers?
   We do provide this service at a nominal cost of 3 cents per line wherein our editors will format the text files as per your requirements.
5. Will you setup and install the speech recognition software on our own servers?
